Lou's Role with Ace Hardware
Lou Manfredini is a national home improvement expert and Ace Hardware's "Helpful Hardware Man." As the company's editorial spokesperson, Lou is engaged in a number of activities in support of the Ace brand:
- Lou heads up the efforts to rehab helpful community places for "New Faces for Helpful Places," a program in which Ace retailers nominate locations in their community in need of a little "TLC." Lou, along with his "Lou Crew" of volunteers, commit a full day's worth of work to the projects.
- As a part of Ace's involvement with Little League® Baseball, Lou also heads up the efforts for the Ace/Little League "Fields for the Future" program. Similar to New Faces, Ace retailers nominate a Little League baseball or softball field in their community that could use some extra home improvement help gearing up for the season. Lou and his "Lou Crew" of volunteers put in a day's work to get the field up to par.

- Occasionally, Lou is utilized as an internal communications tool, leading "lunch and learn" sessions for Ace corporate employees and communicating helpful tips through written and online newsletters.
- Lou attends Ace's twice-yearly conventions for Ace retailers and administers informative breakout sessions, delivering the latest home improvement and retail trends.
